Locus[t] is a Sri Lankan-American diaspora story about ambition and belonging set in present-day NYC, blending live-action with VFX and 2D animation.
This short is a proof-of-concept for our VISION of a larger studio-backed series or feature film — centered on empowering underprivileged communities in media. Your support is integral to making this vision possible.

leeth — actor & writer
Sri Lankan artist based across New York City and California, Leeth has 10+ years of experience starring in a variety of genres across theater and screen, and won the Award for Best Emerging Actor at the world’s largest solo theater festival, United Solo 2022 in New York City, for his original solo-show GROWTHesque after its acclaimed debut at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
Leeth made his international TV debut on ITV’s The Good Karma Hospital (Season 4) appearing as ‘Shaan Murthy,’ and has played lead roles in internationally touring theater productions including as ‘Friedrich’ in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Really Useful Group production of The Sound of Music, and ‘Kalana’ in AnandaDrama’s multi-award-winning Grease Yaka Returns.
Leeth is currently a senior at Stanford University studying Theater & Performance.
